Jane supports clients in searching for ways to express more passion, purpose and meaning in their lives. She brings the science and art of learning together in her work with individuals and groups. Drawing on her expertise in ontological coaching, somatics, and purpose coaching, she addresses the whole human being through language, moods and emotions, and somatics (the body).
Always using her own life journey as her starting point, in the 90’s Jane created a program called Navigating Middlesscence, a term coined by Gail Sheehy, to describe the mid-life crisis as a second adolescence, when people start asking themselves critical questions about the meaning of their lives. Now journeying as a Baby Boomer, Jane has transitioned her coaching practice to focus on this expanding stage of life. She creates opportunities for Baby Boomers and beyond to have critical conversations about retiring, reinvention, conscious aging, and exploring ways to live life fully until the end. Jane is thrilled to play a role in developing this new paradigm of aging wisely.
Jane lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her photographer husband, Chaz. She is crafting her own ‘third chapter’, which includes doing transformational work she loves with individual clients and groups, spending summers at Chautauqua, New York engaging with ideas, people, and the arts, and most importantly playing a significant role in her grandchildrens’ lives!
